Number 1: Tropical Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup ice

1 frozen banana, sliced

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup orange juice

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon honey

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Number 2: Mango Berry Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen)

2 Medjool dates, pitted

1 cup frozen mango chunks

¾ cup coconut water

½ cup frozen blackberries or blueberries

¼ cup plain yogurt

1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

RECIPE PREPARATION

Purée banana, dates, mango, coconut water, blackberries, yogurt, and flaxseeds in a blender until smooth.

Number 3: Mango Watermelon

Ingredients

5 cups cubed seeded watermelon

1 mango - peeled, seeded, and diced

1/2 cup water

1 tablespoon white sugar

ice cubes (optional)

Directions

Blend watermelon, mango, water, and sugar together in a blender until smooth.Place ice into glasses and pour smoothie over ice.

¼ cup protein powder

Number 5: Layered Chocolate Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CHOCOLATE

1.5 frozen bananas, medium

1/4 cup chocolate protein powder

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

1/2 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk

pinch of sea salt

1.5 frozen bananas, medium

1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Number 6: Oatmeal Smoothie

Ingredients

1/4 cup old-fashioned oats or quick oats

1 banana — chopped into chunks and frozen

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

1/2 tablespoon pure maple syrup — plus additional to taste

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt — don’t skip this, as it makes the oatmeal pop!

Ice — optional, add at the end if you want a thicker smoothie

Instructions

Place the oats in the bottom of a blender and pulse a few times until finely ground. Add the banana, milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the blender as needed. Taste and add additional sweetener if you’d like a sweeter smoothie.

Number 7: Healthy Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

1 medium banana (fresh or frozen)

½ cup sliced strawberries, blueberries, or chopped mangos

¼ cup 2% plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon almond butter

½ cup baby spinach

½ cup unsweetened almond milk

Optional: 1-2 basil leaves, 2-3 mint leaves, ½ teaspoon peeled, chopped ginger

Number 8: Blueberry Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup reduced-fat vanilla ice cream

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1/2 cup chopped peeled fresh peaches or frozen unsweetened sliced peaches

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup vanilla yogurt

Directions

In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately

Number 9: Blueberry Banana Skyr Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup skyr

½ cup frozen blueberries

½ cup of very ripe banana

½ cup ice

Pinch of ground sugar

Directions

Combine ingredients with 1/4 cup ice-cold water in a blender; puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Number 10: Green Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups spinach

2 cups water

1 cup mango

1 cup pineapple

2 bananas, Use at least one frozen fruit to chill your smoothie. We often use frozen mangos and bananas our green smoothies.

Instructions

Tightly pack 2 cups of leafy greens in a measuring cup and then toss into blender.

Add water and blend together until all leafy chunks are gone.

Add mango, pineapple and bananas and blend again until smooth.

Pour into a mason jar (or cute cup of your choice).

Number 11: Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups frozen banana slices (approximately 2 medium bananas)

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

1 cup ice

1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup vanilla yogurt

2 tbsp. honey

Steps to Make It

Place frozen banana slices, frozen pineapple chunks and ice in the bottom of a blender or the work bowl of a food processor, fitted with a metal blade.

Pour soy milk over fruit.

Add remaining ingredients. Puree until smooth. If the blender doesn't seem to be crushing the pineapple chunks well enough, stop it. Push the pineapple down with a spoon. Restart.

Garnish with chopped roasted peanuts, if desired, and serve immediately.

Number 12: Vanilla Fruit Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 cups soy, rice or almond milk, or silken tofu, or yogurt

½ cup apple or orange juice or water, or as needed

½ teaspoon vanilla extract, or a couple of slices of peeled ginger, or a little honey or maple syrup, all optional

½ frozen banana, optional

2 cups unsweetened frozen fruit: peaches, cherries, blueberries, pineapple or just about anything else

PREPARATION

Combine everything in a blender. Pulse the machine, then turn it on and purée until smooth. If you’re not getting enough action, add juice or water a little at a time until the machine gets a grip. Serve immediately.

Number 13: Strawberry Mango Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup sliced strawberries

1 cup peeled, pitted, and chopped mango

6 ounces plain Greek yogurt (or 1 container store bought yogurt)

6-8 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS:

Place strawberries, mango, and yogurt in a blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds. Add in the ice cubes and blend until smooth. Pour smoothie into glasses and serve.
